John Wade Gray from ?? John was born in 1853 to William John (could be John William) and Rebecca Wade Gray of: Mississippi, Kentucky, N.Carolina, Tennessee? Family members have been trying for decades to find his parents and siblings, so far no luck. John Wade and his wife Hannah Matlock Gray lived and raised their family in Johnson County (and Coweta, OK briefly), Clarksville. Any help or ideas/tips will be greatly appreciated!

I am searching for information on Ben McBroom (McBrune) family who was in the 1870 Johnson County census. Ben and his wife, Martha C. Killion (daughter of Moses Killion of Scott County), son Arthur F, and Martha's sister Rebecca Killion. Would like to know what happened to this family. Have quite a bit of information on the Killion family, glad to share.

Looking for any information on the family of ELLEN CAROLINE WOLFE born Nov. 18, 1840 in Johnson County, AR. Thought to have a twin sister, Martha. Three other known siblings; Tobe, Sarah, and Sallie. Family papers indicate the family left Arkansas for Texas by 1844. Can find no information on her parents. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Family lore says that the family helped establish Clarksville, AR. Does anyone have any information on the establishment of Clarksville? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for information on Josh Francis (Sam) Gilbert born 1841 in NC, married Rebecca Adaline McClaughlin born June 11, 1846, Franklin County, AR, Dec. 01, 1873 in Franklin Co, AR. Sam and Rebecca were on the 1880 Johnson County census in Spardra township with children Daisy b. 1874, William b. 1877, and Arguit? b. 1878. Would like to know if anyone has any information about what happened to them. I have some information on the McLaughlin line and would be happy to share.

Andy Wellington Jones b. ca 1870 in Johnson County, AR, married Vester Hull b. ca 1872 in Marion County, AR. Their fourth child was Carl Shade(?) Jones b. 17 Nov 1901 in Lamar, AR. Other children included Alvie, Oliver, Mandy, Minnie, and Walter(Walk). Minnie married a Choctaw Indian, Julius Hogan. Any information on them and Andy;s and Vester's parents would be appreciated.

Need information regarding William Thomas (Tom) Johnson, born about 1863 in AR, son of Josiah Johnson and his wife, Acenith E. Wood. Thomas married (1) Rachel Sophronia Pearson, born 2 Nov 1862, daughter of Lewis Pearson and his wife, Rebecca Rogers. Tom Johnson is believed to have lived for a time in Oklahoma (Indian Territory) and to have died in or near Little Rock, AR and to have been buried in a "paupers grave". Anyone with knowledge of William Thomas Johnson is asked to contact.

Looking for any information on Isaac Collins who was in Horse Head township, Johnson County, AR in the 1850 & 1860 census. He was b. abt 1796 in TN and had a wife named Francis who was also born in TN. I believe this is the same Isaac Collins who is in the 1840 Jackson County, AL census. I think they had at least three children. Pleasant B. born 1820, AL, Elizabeth jane, born 1823, AL, and Isaac Jackson born 1825. Elizabeth Jane married William L. Clark. Any information on this Collins line would be greatly appreciated.

My 2nd great grandfather, Thomas Jefferson Cabe married Christian Elizabeth Lewis in Johnson County on Dec. 6, 1856. I would like any information on Thomas Jefferson Cabe or his parents John and Sarah Cabe (who lived in Franklin County). I would also like any information on the Lewis family. Her father was W.K. Many descendants of John LEE, Esq. (d. Johnston Co., NC circa 1767) made their way to AR, settling in Logan, Franklin, and Johnson Co.'s. These included William LEE, Lovett LEE, Britton LEE, Samuel LEE, and many others. Several men of this extended family joined the Union Army during the Civil War.
